So I replicated a vintage illustration of a little girl in a red dress eating an apple. I really liked this illustration and that's why I chose to recreate it as a vector image in Illustrator. I really love the Pen Tool! This assignment is similar to one I completed in high school level digital design class. We had to trace an image with the Pen Tool in Illustrator. I ~bravely (and naively)~ chose Spiderman. ....so many lines! It was quite difficult and took a long time to complete, but that's probably why I'm such a (self-proclaimed) pro at using the pen tool.I'm not super happy with how this picture turned out. I know I could have done a much better job on recreating it. This is what happens when I think I've given myself enough time, but I didn't. And also when I use a small image, then enlarge it. It was very pixelated and that made it hard to find the exact lines.
